Course Prerequisites: No assumed knowledge
Minimum Age: No minimum but Under 16’s must be accompanied by adult. Persons aged 16+ can be unaccompanied subject to other pre-requisites having been met
This course is designed for company employees who work in low-risk environments like shops and offices which have immediate access to emergency services.
Employers must ensure appropriate measures are in place if someone is taken ill or a workplace accident or injury occurs.
This does not need not be complicated and complex. The first aid provision should be ‘adequate and appropriate in the circumstances’. In a low-risk setting, it may be as simple as a first aid kit and an appointed person who is EFAW qualified and also to call emergency services. In higher risk settings, you need to appoint at least one trained first aider.
The one day course covers the full HSE syllabus, we do also touch on other topics such as Anaphylaxis and Heart attacks.

The one day Emergency First Aid at Work Course covers all the basic first aid subjects mentioned above in a course lasting approximately 6 hours.
This is a basic course for those who work in places like shops and offices where emergency services are but a few minutes away.
The course is a fun and enjoyable day, with all our instructors being practicing medics, from Ambulance Technicians to Paramedics and Nurse Resus officers.
We believe that delivering the course by using professional medical staff gives a better depth and understanding.
Learning the tricks of the trade from medical staff who actually do this on a day to day basis helps with your course immensely.
Its not a dull First Aid course by any means, it is both fun and informative with lots of participation and group work.
This course is for anyone who feelsa bit of knowledge will give them some confidence in how to deal with emergency in the workplace.
You’ll learn some life saving skills and actions in an emergency which are immensely useful.
