Excellent course with very constructive tuition that now gives me the knowledge and confidence to skipper reasonable length voyages and to build up the experience for longer voyages.

Julian – Day Skipper, June 2019

Great instructor, fab bunch of people, excellent marina facilities and the sun even shone!

Amanda – Day Skipper, August 2017

Richard is an excellent instructor, (which of course you already know). He knows exactly how to get information across and where any weakness may be lurking. I thoroughly enjoyed my time training and would recommend Commodore to anyone wishing to undertake any form of training/tuition. Very professional indeed. Thank you

Simon – Day Skipper, April 2017

David proved to be an excellent instructor. His patience and attention to detail made the learning experience most enjoyable.

Murray – Day Skipper, August 2016

Instructor very very very good, well pitched, excellent explanations, relaxed but safe, informative, great weather conditions (sure that was not anything to do with instructor though) Brilliant course

Christopher – Day Skipper, May 2016

Despite storm Katie causing disruption with the weather, Pete managed to work around that and achieve all the course requirements. It was a great 5 days and I really got a lot out of it. Pete is a bit of a character with some great stories and we had a fantastic time on and off the boat

Denys – Day Skipper, March 2016

Had an amazing time with Pete and our fellow crew. Some challenges thrown at us by storm Katie but that only improved the sense of achievement. Can highly recommend the great personal service offered by Stuart, Karen and the team

Keith – Day Skipper, March 2016

Emma was amazing. Patient and diplomatic as a teacher. Excellent anticipation of potential problems as skipper. Decisive and calm when things got tough.

Paul – Day Skipper, November 2015

Impressive course for such a last minute booking. Most impressive was the fact that I had no experience before this and that was tailored into the course as much as possible. The online course is excellent, teaching you in some areas even deeper knowledge than is needed. Mark is an excellent and very patient instructor who took in to account all of the various students experiences and focused on individual’s areas for improvement.

Edward – Day Skipper, October 2015

A very professionally run company and the boats are in a great condition. Neil was very knowledegable and made the course enjoyable. Thanks for a great weeks sailing.

Ashley – Day Skipper, March 2013
