It is a lot about understanding and having the knowledge brought forward into the front of your thinking. The course can be amazing fun and will bring some really useful navigation techniques for longer routes.
There are so many usefull techniques to learn in navigation that are interesting for longer routes and more unusual passage plans.
My advice for the course is keep a sharp pencil, and ask lots of questions. If you do not understand then ask the instructor remotely as we are here to pass on our knowledge to you.
