At Commodore Yachting this course is taught by our senior instructors , who have many years of experience teaching all levels of students from absolute beginners to Yachtmasters.
You will be taught varied teaching techniques to enable to to make the most of the many different learning styles and enable you to get the very best out of your students. You will go learn how to plan your courses, make the most of all the training opportunites available as well as managing your time ensuring that you cover the whole RYA syllabus during a course. During the Cruising Instructor course you will take part in role play situations where you will find out how it feels to be both the instructor and the student.

FEEDBACK – Cruising Instructor Student Reviews
John is one of the best instructors I have ever sailed with – he made the course fun, informative and his knowledge and enthusiasm (and sense of humour) shone through all week. Very professional. The high line transfer in the dark was a first for me and the highlight of the week! I cannot speak highly enough of this man, and if I ever get to be half the instructor he is I will be a happy teddy bear!
