Then why not charter one of our immaculately-maintained charter fleet boats, and do it!
Commodore Yachting are proud to offer yacht charter to suitably qualified/experienced* sailors who want to do their own thing in the great location that is the Solent. You can charter our yachts for any length of time, with weekend and week-long charters being very popular, enabling you to get out into the Solent or further afield and really maximise your sailing experience.
On our charters you’ll get a superbly maintained Bavaria yacht from our wide-ranging fleet, with sizes ranging from 36-44’ (10.9m to 13.4m), all of which have multiple cabins and bunks on board so you won’t be short of space for crew.
With very competitive charter rates, you can tailor a charter to suit your requirements without it costing the earth.
You’ll get a fully maintained, insured, fuelled and watered yacht, all ready and waiting to go when you arrive. After we’ve welcomed you to Commodore Yachting and helped you on board with your bags, we will give you a comprehensive handover orientation to ensure you are fully-versed and familiarised in how the yacht operates. This will include demonstrating how the engine is controlled, maintained and all the essential daily checks you need to make, how to operate the rigging and controls, how everything works below decks including the cooker, fridge, toilet, shower, basins, the electrical components, the VHF radio and navigation equipment, bilge pumps, navigation lighting and the anchoring system. We will also demonstrate how the seacocks work, where the emergency equipment is held and how to use it.
We will give you a quick guide to safely exiting and entering Premier Gosport Marina, how and where to stow fenders, where the mooring lines are kept and any other information which you will need to fully enjoy your chartering experience! We will also spend as much time as you need to answer any questions you may have, before you depart on your adventure.
As you’d expect with Commodore Yachting, not only do we offer you quality first class yachts, but also the backup and support to compliment them. As standard we give comprehensive backup and support with our 24/7 support phone line, ensuring that should the worst happen we are always here to respond to your call immediately.
All our Yachts are covered by Seastart marine breakdown assistance, giving you peace of mind that should the worst happen, we’ve got you covered.
So what are you waiting for? Book-up a yacht and get out there! The adventure starts here!
