RYA Sailing School Open Day

21st – 22nd January 2012

10am - 4pm

Visit Commodore Yachting, RYA Sailing School at our Gosport Marina base on our Open Day to discuss all your RYA training requirements including our Fastrack Yachtmaster Programme. Our RYA instructors will be available to talk to you about the RYA training scheme and help you decide which sailing courses to would be best suited to your requirements. During the day there will be an opportunity to take part in a sailing ‘taster session’ on one of our Bavaria yachts. We will get you out on the water in Portsmouth Harbour and show you some the basic skills taught on the RYA Competent Crew and RYA Day Skipper courses.

For those people interested in the RYA VHF radio course there will also be an opportunity to have a go with our training radio sets and find out what is involved in the one day VHF Radio course.

We will be extending our London Boat Show offers to anyone attending the open day with 10% off RYA courses booked during the open weekend.

Weekend Sailing

We have just added more dates for RYA Start Yachting / weekend sailing courses to offer more places as the summer programme fills up. The weekends are suitable for complete novice sailors wishing to to try sailing for the first time as well as anyone wishing to take Competent Crew or Day Skipper over 3 weekends. If you don’t want to take a RYA sailing course the weekend is jus as suitable to gain experience or just to relax! RYA Day Skipper Course

RYA Day Skipper is the qualification you need for yacht charter in the UK and abroad. It is internationally recognised as the benchmark standard with the RYA syllabus covering all the skills and techniques required to skipper a yacht. Commodore Yachting are a RYA recognised sailing school based in Gosport Marina with easy access to the Solent. Day Skipper and Competent Crew courses are run all year round and as a London Boat Show special offer they are offering 10% discount off all RYA courses and yacht charter booked at the show.

We have been very pleased at the level of interest in rya training courses and yacht charter on the first day of the London Boat Show. We are offering a special boat show offer of 10% off all rya courses and Solent yacht charter booked during the boat show. Day Skipper and Competent Crew remain the most popular courses and with this year being a Fastnet year we have already had a great deal of interest in our 2009 Fastnet Race programme. The London International Boat Show continues until 18th January.
