Sea Safety Course

We have just added a new RYA Sea Survival and ISAF course on the weekend 24th – 25th March. This is a vital course for anyone involved in sailing  a yacht or motorboating. Students will be taught sea survival techniques designed to help you to survive an critical situation at sea. The course includes a classroom session where different rescue and sea survival techniques are taught. In the afternoon there is a pool session with the opportunity to launch a life raft and practice entering it and assist others to enter it in full wet weather gear.  The ISAF course will teach strategies for coping with heavy weather at sea including the use of storm sails, sea anchors and distress alerts. This course is essential for anyone taking part in offshore cruising or racing such as the Fastnet Race or intending to obtain a commercial endorsement.
