On-line Theory Courses

You can now study in the comfort of your own home or office with the best RYA on-line courses on the market provided by the leading producers of on-line learning courses anywhere in the world.  You will receive full tutor support with one of our experienced RYA instructors should you need any help during any of our RYA on-line courses. All answers are submitted on-line and will  find out if your answers are correct with instant feedback as you go. You can even take the exam at home. 

RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship Course is a first level RYA on-line course aimed at absolute beginners, power boaters or motor cruisers. It is a good introduction to navigation but not a requisite for taking Day Skipper theory. This course is provided by Commodore Yachting through RYA Interactive. Course fee £99.00

RYA Day Skipper Theory Course is an excellent introduction to navigation and essential for anyone taking Day Skipper practical or higher lever navigation courses. No prior theory experience is required but we do recommend that the RYA Competent Crew is taken beforehand. This course is provided to us by Navathome although you will be tutored by an experienced RYA Instructor from Commodore Yachting. Course fee £285.00

RYA Coastal / Yachtmaster Theory  Course is an advanced navigation course also provided by Navathome and tutored by an experienced RYA Instructor from Commodore Yachting. It is highly recommended that RYA Day Skipper Theory is taken before the RYA Coastal / Yachtmaster theory course. Course fee £285.00

RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Theory Course is also provided through Navathome who will tutor you through this course. Course fee £295.00

RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities Courses (PPR) is provided by Commodore Yachting through RYA Interactive and is an essential course for anyone wish you become a commercially endorsed skipper or mate. Course fee £37.20

CEVNI Test forms part of the International Certificate of Competence and is required by anyone using the European Inland Waterways. It is easy to take on line through Commodore Yachting's page at RYA Interactive. Course fee £25.00

For each of these courses you will need access to a computer but there is nothing to download, everything is accessible online. There are detailed explanations on each subject with interactive graphics which can be clicked through forwards and backwards.
