Fastrack Yachtmaster – Commodore Yachting launch their Professional Yachtmaster Programme

Fastrack Yachtmaster, the Professional Yachtmaster Programme begins next month with Commodore Yachting in Gosport. Fastrack enables students to enter the marine industry at the end of a modular course when a commercial endorsement can be added to the qualification. Students follow the RYA syllabus from Competent Crew and Day Skipper to Yachtmaster during this 16 week course. During the course there will be opportunities for mile building passages as well as bareboat charter. It is hoped that a milebuilding trip to Ireland or France will be undertaken before the students take one of the charter yachts for their own Solent cruise. Demand for the course has been high and it is expected that all places will be filled at the London Boat Show which continues until Sunday.
