Fastnet Race 2009 campaign starts in 10 weeks

The 2009 Fastnet Race campaign starts in 10 weeks time with the first of 2 training weekends. Both Bavaria 44′s have been entered in the race and crew places are filling fast. As a RYA sailing school training is an important part of the campaign and the two training weekends are an excellent opportunity to meet the rest of the crew as well as learn some new sailing skills. Although we aim to be as competitive as possible, as a sailing school we do not lose sight of our intention to allow the crew to be as involved in decision making and skippering as possible. The three qualifying races give participants the opportunity to fine tune racing skills before the start of the Rolex Fastnet Race in Cowes on August 9th.
