Milebuilding Trip

There are just 2 places left on our Cross Channel Cruise next weekend. We plan to leave on Friday evening on one of our Bavaria 44s to cross to Cherbourg overnight. The milebuilder is an ideal opportunity to put into practice the  navigation and sailing skills learned on the RYA Competent Crew or Day Skipper course or to build miles before taking the Yachtmaster prep course. Everyone will get the chance to take part in a watch system as we cross some of the busiest shipping lates in the world under the careful guidance of one of our professional skippers and RYA  Sailing School instructors. Upon arrival in the French port of Cherbourg there will be an opportunity to catch up with some sleep before a full day of sightseeing and shopping. The yacht will leave early on Sunday morning for the crossing back to the Solent and our base at Gosport Marina.
